Community Action
Kits:
Safe Place for Newborns is pleased to offer a Community Action Kit
to help you carry word about this program into your own community.
Contact
us, and we will ship one to you.
Brochures and
Posters:
Safe Place for Newborns brochures and posters
are 8.5x11, full color.
Public Service
Announcements:
Safe Place for Newborns is
pleased and honored to be the recipients of an anonymous grant that
permitted us to produce a 30-second Public Service Announcement for
television and radio. Would you like a copy of the spot to take
the spot to your local station? Or perhaps you would like a copy
to use as part of a community education effort.
Perhaps you may wish to take the spot to
your local station to see if they will help spread the word by
running the spot. We also have several formats available, so
if a television station needs the spot in another format, we've
probably got it!
Minnesota:
Contact Safe Place for Newborns, and we will be glad
to ship posters, brochures, and a copy of the Public Service
Announcement - at no cost to you.
Other States:
Depending on the
particulars of the Safe Haven law in your state, you may be able to
use the Safe Place for Newborns brochure as is. Except for the Safe
Place for Newborns address, it does not mention, "Minnesota;"
it says, "Bring your baby to any hospital."
The Safe Place for
Newborns brochures, posters, and Public
Service Announcement were designed to be easily and economically
adapted for use in other states. By working with vendors committed
to the mission of saving newborns in danger of abandonment, Safe
Place for Newborns can provide 10,000 brochures and 10,000 posters
at a cost of approximately $3200.00, total. The cost of
adapting the Public Service
Announcement varies, depending on the work needed. Most
often, this cost is less than $1000.00.
Please note that this
pricing does not include a profit for Safe Place for Newborns; it
simply covers the cost of editing, copying, and shipping.

Newborns for more information.
Will you
